Christmas is coming!

Saturday I was rearranging our furniture and so we thought why not put up the Christmas tree and decorations while we are at it. I know that it has not even been thanksgiving yet but what the heck...

We had a good friend come over and snap some shots of the kids in their nice clothes and I think she did a great job Thanks Shalet. Aren't they just cute kids. I sure love them a ton. Being a Mom is a whole lot more fun than I could have ever imagined.

Goodbye crib

Yeah Macie has a big girl bed!!!! Finally I got over the anxiety of having both kids in the same room and Macie not being in the crib any more.

Macie loves her new bed and it has been easier to have both kids in the same place. Thomas sleeps better in his crib than the porta crib but he slept good in the first place. I am deffinatly blessed with children who sleep good, Thank goodness!!!!!

It was Macie's Birthday November 11 and she turned 2. If you ask her how old she is she says "I'm Macie" then holds up her thumb and her index finger to show you she is 2.

For her birthday she said she wanted a kitty cake so I did my best and made her one. Macie helped make the frosting and tried to help frost the cake but that stressed me out to much so she got her own cake and frosting to frost while I did the big one. It was a fun afternoon for the both of us.

That night we had her birthday dinner we had chicken and rice while macie had her favorite Mac and Cheese she got to use the Birthday Goblet and the birthday plate (the goblet and plate are only used on birthdays for the birthday person) anyway it was a fun day...

New President

Well, the elections have come and gone, we can't say that we are surprised by the way they turned out but we were hopeful. Many of you reading this may be Obama supporters and that is fine but we were hoping for a different outcome. Now we get to see what the new President elects plans really are. It isn't just the socialized health care or his tax plan that worries us but for me it is the direction the family may go.

Marriage is a sacred institution between one man and one woman in which Gods children can be born into such a family. My family; Schuyler and my two children are the most important people in my life and it is a gift from my Heavenly father to have been married in the Temple and have two beautiful children sealed to us. I just pray that what ever changes come and go; money, health care, and so on that we remember what is trully important, the gospel of Jesus Christ and the will of our Heavenly Father. We are blessed to have a moral compus and prophet to lead and guide us who speaks on the Saviors be half. I know the Church of Jesus Christ is the true church and the Savior lives and I look forward to the day when he will come again.

I look to the future with high hopes and anxiety I will support President Obama and the office he holds, and do what I can for our country as a citizen of the United States of America.
