Macie needed some wall art on a bare wall in her room. It was a rainy day so this is what we came up with. I had saved this frame from the fate of the dumpster a while back not knowing what I would do with it. So I found some fabric in the closet, liquid starch under the sink, and this frame and got to work. I put the fabric on the wall with the liquid starch and then I painted the frame white and here is what it came out looking like a wall hanging for under $8. Macie loves it, more because it has butterflies in it than anything else.

He has Risen!!
I have been thinking about this post for over a week now and trying to put into words how I feel about easter and the Resurrection of our Savior.
I love this holiday, yes it is filled with candy and at some homes presents, and of course the easter meal where family and friends gather together to enjoy each others company. However what I love most is pondering on the life, death and resurrection of MY/OUR Savior Jesus Christ. I know That Jesus Christ came to this earth and that he is the Son of God. He taught us about so many things and made it possible through the Atonement and resurrection for us to over come spiritual, and physical death. I know he lived and he died on the cross and was resurrected. I know this through the Holy Ghost who has testified to me in my mind and heart. I look forward to the time when he comes again. I Love my Savior and I love celebrating his life and resurrection each year.!!

Rainy Days!
It is definably the rainy season here in Wisconsin along with Tornado's, hail, snow and anything else the weather feels like throwing at us. One day it was warm rain so we dressed the kids up and went out and played. My friend took these great pictures of the kids!

Just wanted to see what would happen...
I was looking through crafty blogs and someone (I can't remember who) had made peanut butter eggs so I decided to try my own. They certainly aren't professional but it was a lot of fun. Also the flat things are peanut butter cups. They are pretty good if I say so myself. Happy Easter everyone.

I FINALLY did it!
For over a year I have been telling myself and others that I am going to make strawberry jam. My Mom even mailed me pectin over a year ago and still I would see it in food storage and say some day I am going to do that. Well yesterday was that day! The kids had some friends over keeping them entertained and I had some extra energy, so I started in on the jam. It wasn't difficult, took a little time but no more than making bread. I think I will do it again sometime soon!!
YUMMY!! Nothing like home made rolls and fresh jam!! Yes it was very good!

Our very own Tornado's...
I was talking to my sister the other day and telling her the events of our week and she said "You always have such funny stories"
I said "doesn't everyone?"
"I never did" she said
This got me thinking about what our days are like and I started laughing and thought they are pretty funny stories maybe not at the moment but a week latter I am laughing which is good because there is always a new one that I can laugh at in a week again.
So here is a typical week for us I am picking last week because it is on my mind. From Saturday to Saturday.
Saturday- Thomas found some little scissors and asked Macie to cut his hair. to this day he won't let me cut it because he insists Macie Did it just fine and he doesn't need one yet. (trust me he does need one) Macie also insists that she went to school to learn to cut hair and did a fine job and can do it again.
Sunday-Hear a loud terrible scream form upstairs and Macie yells down Tom sprayed cleaner in his eyes. Both Sky and I jumped up rinsed out his eyes quite extensively and found out that it was air freshener he sprayed directly in his eyes. He is fine now but it sure didn't feel good for awhile. (they had knocked it down from a tall shelf with a ball)
Monday-Thomas fell from the top of the toys at the park and is still limping, we went to the doctor the next day and they are hoping it is just a sprain.
Tuesday- Thomas fell out of the stroller, yes while I was attempting to walk fast. (Which can be the same thing as my run, not very fast)When the doctor asked to see his foot he was more concerned about her fixing his scraped knee than his hurt foot.
Wednesday-Played outside in the rain and I finally stopped caring if he got dirty and well he jumped right in and had a great time mud all over!! but he didn't mind at all. Macie on the other hand wanted to play in the puddles but didn't want to have anything to do with the mud!
Thursday- Today was a day filled with I love you's hug, kisses and a bunch of Sorry's as he headed to time out for saying "NO" to Mom to many times. I love that kid he is to darn cute!!
Friday-Both kids had their little fingers all over the digital camera and when I found them it was to late it is now broken and to never be used again!
Saturday-We were at the church for road show practice Couldn't find Thomas, I have never seen Sky look so panicked in my life. We finally found him wandering outside having a great time in the parking lot. YIKES!!!!! Macie said to him "Thomas you not Supposed to walk away like that!" Latter that night he said "you couldn't see me dad, I scared you" Yes he scared us but we have him and as I look back a this post I think to myself, Thomas definably keeps me on my toes and can ware me out along with wearing himself out but We wouldn't trade our little man for anything. He is so much fun to have around and brings so much life and laughter to our house. We love you "Mr Sir"!!!!!!
There are many more instances when I have found them trying to fill up the dinning room floor with water just to put their swim suits on and bathe their stuffed animals in it or broken cords lying around. But there are also many times when I hear them playing so nice and helping each other out and the laughter that come from the bottom of their belly that is so contagious. I love being a Mom to Macie and Thomas they definably keep me on my toes but I wouldn't pass up those "I love you's, Sorry's, hugs and thank yous" for anything!!!!!
