I have been getting more into cake decorating and my sister Camille has asked that I post all of the cakes I have done lately so if you are not interested it's okay because this is for Camille.

I just downloaded all of these pictures and here are some of my favorite that Macie obviously got a hold of the camera and had a hay day. I Love that girl. I think she may have some talent.

Happy Birthday Macie.

This little girl has been so excited for her birthday after Sky had his and then she watched Thomas and I have ours with a couple of friends in between. When we put the cake in front of her she said "It's finally my turn?" she said she wanted an Elephant cake and when asked what colors she said Yellow and orange so that is what she got.

To be honest my hand was killing me after I got done piping that cake but it was worth it to see the smile and stars in her eyes.

If you know Macie you know pretty much what she talks about is School, back packs and Doctors, and lately Dentists she informed me one day while in the car;

" Mom I am going to be a teeth doctor,"

"They are called Dentist Macie,"

"I am going to be a dentist Mom, you can be a dentist to mom"

I just laughed I wonder what will happen when she realizes that not every dad she knows goes to school all day and is a Doctor or a Dentist I guess that is what growing up is all about.

So she got her Back pack and first Doctor kit and we have all been patients of Doctor Macie multiple times since last Thursday.

Halloween and Pumpkin patch

For Halloween the kids and I went and picked out our very own pumpkin Macie loved it while Thomas sat in the stroller and did a face plant in the mud. life is so fun with these two kids. Macie was so proud of her pumpkin.

For Halloween we each tried to be a catacter from Peter Pan. Sky was Peter Pan , I was Wendy, Macie was Tinkerbell, and Thomas was Captain hook. It was fun to dress up as a family!!!!

Here are some random pictures of Thomas birthday and the dells we love going there as a family and Macie was even as adventurous enough to go down a big water slide by herself I was panicking enough for the both of us I guess.

I mentioned before that Grandma and Grandpa Sessions stoped by in October on their way home form their mission and we had a great time it was so nice to have them in our home, the kids LOVED, LOVED , LOVED it and so did Sky and I. thanks for taking the Time Mom and Dad we love you!!

Grandpas little girl...

The other day Macie and I had to make a quick trip to the grocery store on our way out she decided to clean the car with her hand by this I mean write in the dirt. This was our following conversation.

"Macie please don't write on the car."

"I cleaning it Mommy"

"Macie that isn't cleaning it, it scratches the car when I was a little girl Grandpa said I couldn't clean the car that way, he told me no"

Macie was silent for a minute looked at me and with a little grin said "Grandpa never tells me No"

August Brake

Sky had a three week break from school in August so we played, played and played some more. We stayed in Wisconsin and had so much fun it was great being together as a family and doing some fun things.

We went to the Dells over Thomas's first birthday and it was so much fun. He got some cars and it was so cute to see him make the noise with them and play with them with his dad. We played for three days there at the water park and it was as fun as last time. I even got brave enough to go on the half pipe, it was fun but I won't put down what I was thinking in my head. We went with some friends from school so when the kids were sleeping we would take turns going as couples and having fun.

It was my birthday as well during the break. A friend of ours came over and watched the kids while Sky and I went on a day date and that night our fiends made reservations for us all, at Buca and it was so fun. I was well take care of and Sky got me flowers which are still doing well.

Macie was able to go to a ball game with her dad. We think that was her favorite thing she did. She sings "take me out to the ball game" points to the stadium every time we go by and informs me that she is going again with her dad and that I can't come. I think it is cute that they had that time together. Tom and I were home sick but o'well.

It was a great break we were able to go to the Temple thanks to the Harkers, get some friends moved in, do repairs around the house, lots of shopping, watch movies, take naps, BBQ's ,, visits to the Zoo and hang out with friends.

Happy Birthday Sky!!!!

Sky had his birthday a couple of weeks ago!! It was fun to celebrate with him Macie loves birthdays she said Happy Birthday Dad every time he walked in the room it was cute. I made sky a tooth cake and we had some friends over to celebrate with us. It was fun. Happy Late Birthday Schuyler!!!

Our lunch break, I think the kids enjoyed running around on the grass as much as seeing the animals.
Those Polar bears were HUGE! It was so much fun watching them in the water and seeing them so up close.

We love the zoo here!!!! It is so fun to go see all of the animals I don't know who gets more excited to see the bears and elephants more Macie or Me. We have a play group that meets every Thursday and we do a lot of fun different things but this time I remembered the camera.

We had to have a picture with Macie and the elephant when she saw it she talked about her Grandpa and wanted to hang on its tusks just like he did. I had to tell her only Grandpas who live in Africa can do that.

I came out from the back room the other day and this is what I found she didn't see me with camera she was honestly trying to read her scriptures I asked her if she wanted to go outside and she said "No Mommy I need read my scriptures." That lasted 30 seconds and then we went outside.
Macie loves the camera, dress up, and playing Doctor. She thinks every ones dad is a dentist or a doctor what a surprise it will be when we don't live by students anymore. Thomas is always happy to sit in as her patient well actually has no choice, there is no one else around.

They are so cute!!!! It is so fun watching them grow up!!! They love to play together and I love it too.
Her first Easter egg hunt. I am not sure she new what to do but is was fun anyway.

"I all better Mommy!"

Last week Macie and I spent a couple of days at the children's hospital. She has been limping since Easter weekend and the doctors were worried it was interfering with her development so they took x-rays and took blood and did IV's she was a trooper. She didn't like it but she handled it well. She was always saying "I fine Mommoy, I all better Mommy, or I ready to go home Mommy" what a sweet girl!

She had to wear this boot for a day till they knew what was going on. They decided that she probably had a virul infection in her hip that traveled down her leg. That is what made her limp. We go back to the doctor Monday to make sure her blood dosen't show any more infections. ISN'T SHE SO CUTE??

Mothers Day Surprise.

The Friday before mothers day We packed up the car and when Sky finished his last final we buckled the kids in and drove straight to Idaho falls to Surprise my parents for Mothers day. It wa so cute to see Macie walk right in the house saying "PA, PA" and to see shock and tears in my parents eyes it was worth the drive and the time that was spent for the whole week.

Macie spent most of her time dressed up as a princess and talking about the temple. Thomas loved all of the attention and played for hours and hours. Sky and I just enjoyed being with family and relaxing with out having to get up and worry about every day life.

We had a chance to get together with Cory and Kinley Ricks while we were in town and Macie and Tanner played as they always have. That morning when I told Macie she was going to see Tanner, she said "I go get married to Tanner?" it was cute.

Macies wedding day...so she thought.

Macies new thing that she talks about all day and night is "I ready go get married in the Temple mommy" I hear her talk about the temple to her friends, at the grocery store, pretend friends and all day to sky and I. No I haven't brain washed her!! She saw a wedding picture of Sky and I an d I told her Dad and I got married in the temple and it only took once.

When we were in Idaho we took her to the Idaho Falls temple and went in the front doors she whispered the whole time and she was so cute about it. When we came out she ran to Sky and dad and yelled "I just got married in the temple!!" It was cute so here are some pictures of Macies wedding day...

Today we went to lunch at a hamburger joint and when we walked in this is what we saw. We felt right at home!!!

March!!!!

I am sorry it has been way to long since I have upadeted our blog but here is a quick up date while the kids are asleep. FINALLY!!!!!

At the beginning of the month my mom came for TEN days yup you read it right TEN and we LOVED every minute of it!!! We spent the days at the Zoo, the dentist, sleeping, playing, and just showing her Wisconsin. I think or hope she has a better impression this time because after last time we weren't sure if she would ever come back!!! But she did.

Thanks Mom for coming Macie still goes looking for you outside and every time we drive into Milwaukee she says, "go get pa off plane?" It was so selfless of you to take the time to come be with us when you already have so much on your plate. Thanks and we are so glad you are our Mom and Grandma!!!

The next week after my mom left was spring break for Schuyler except I think someone forgot to tell Sky until it was half way over!!! He spent the first half of the week at the school anyway preparing for the next weeks tests.

Then on Thursday the party began. We went to Chicago and wow is it a beautiful clean city.We rode the L (subway) and I am not sure if it was more fun for Macie or for Me, we walked for ever trying to find the aquarium and when we found it it was worth it. This was probably the best aquarium I have have ever been to and Macie loved seeing all the fish and little kids.

We stayed at the hotel with 3 other couples and we went swimming and enjoyed our time relaxing. While we were there we were able to go to the Temple we all traded off our kids so each couple had the chance to go. It was so nice to be able to go with Sky and feel of the spirit and be rejuvenated again.

Well as all party's have to this one ended as well. School started up again and it seems that it is one test after another. We see Sky at six in the morning before he leaves and at ten at night when he comes home. I am so grateful to be married to Sky he is so dedicated to taking care of his family. I love him and we are so proud of what he is doing. Oh and a side note he is happy to report that he is Number one on both his March Madness Brackets at school and with our family. This is his clam to fame. We will see what the next round of games brings.

All dressed up with no place to go...

Two nights ago I heard Macie knocking on her door saying "MOM, I got to go, I got to go" I opened up her door to see her say "excuse me" and she ran for the front door and was out before I new it. I guess while in her room she had dressed herself and got her shoes on and decided there was somewhere she needed to be. If you can tell yes she even had the shoes on the right feet.

Valentine's the Merrill way!!

It has become a joke with my sister and her family that I want to celebrate the holidays the way they do. In my mind I fantasize about how the table is set and what fun activity's they have planned so this Valentine;s day I thought I would do my own version of the Merrill's festivity's or at least the way I think it is.

Friday day during nap time I set the table and put everyone's valentine at there plate, we had a good dinner not a Jennifer Merrill dinner (I would never go as far as to say I am as good as cook as she is) but good anyway and spent the night just being together. It was a fun Valentines and Macie thought the balloons were the greatest thing since she discovered chocolate.

It was fun to be togerther and have a whole Friday and Saturday to thimk about LOVE! How much I love Schuyler and our two children. I love them and I feel more and more blessed every day as I watch Thomas and Macie laugh together and when Sky walks in from school if only for ten minutes just to give me a hug and a kiss, it is in these small and simple things that I find a large amount of JOY!!!

Daily lives

Macie and Thomas are starting to have so much fun together whenever Macie walks in the room Thomas either smiles or laughs out loud they play so well together it is so much fun to watch. They are both growing up so fast.

With Sky gone so often this semester it is just the kids and I so one day we spent the afternoon playing with camera trying to get some good shots and yes it did take the afternoon either the lighting wasn't good or Thomas spit up while i took the piture or the most freaquent was Macie covering her face and running off but it was fun and here are some updated pitures they are growng up so fast it is sad.

Thomas is rolling everywhere and sitting up and Macie well she is just Macie and deffiantly 2. She is talking really well and makes me laugh daily.
