A quick update...

A new semester has started and we are getting back into the routine of Sky being gone all the time. He still likes school and we all still love Wisconsin!!!!
Macie is growing up fast and I can understand her words more and more each day! She is a happy little girl and handles an impatient mom very well.
We just recently started going to the YMCA and Macie loves to go and play in the day care with all the kids. Wait who am I kidding she dosen't care much about the other kids it is the Dolls that she askes about every day. When I go pick her up she is feeding a doll a bottle and burping it just like I do to Thomas and then before she can leave, she has to put it to bed and kiss it over and over and over and over and over again the process takes at least ten minutes.
Thomas is growing very well He is 5 months old and 19 pounds, some times I feel like my arms are going to fall off but he is so darn cute he is laughing regularly mostly at Macie and is trying new trick like sitting up and rolling over, this is a bummer for me because now I can't set him down anywere and expect him to stay put. O'Well.
I am happy to be a stay at home mom, Macie and Thomas are so much fun! I love them so much. This isn't the easiest thing I have ever done but it is deffinatly the best thing, I love watching Macie and Thomas laugh together and going in at night after they are both asleep and perfect, I love when Thomas sucks on his top lip and when Macie constantly say's "you okay mommy?" Every day they surprise me and I wonder why I am so blessed to be there Mother.

We finally did our ginger bread house after Christmas!! You can tell which side is Sky's it is the side he is standing closest to and looks like time was taken my side not so much I was doing ginger bread houses since I have been a kid and mine have never looked good!! A side note my kids get there good looks form there DAD if you couldn't tell.

There's no place like home...

We went home for Christmas to Idaho and spent time with family we had a good time and the kids loved seeing Grandpa and Grandma Hammond. Macie still talks about Grandpa and Pa and recently Santa. ( I was wishing that she would talk about Baby Jesus more than Santa I guess I will have to change my parenting style...)
Macie played out in the snow and had fun with her cousins it was a good trip we also spent some time with Sky's brothers which was very nice.

Water park fun!!!

Sky had a three week Christmas break so we spent it doing a lot of different things first we went to the Wisconsin Dells with some friends Dennis and Amber Ogilvi where we spent time at the in-door water park and the girls loved the jucuzi that was in the condo. To sum up or three days we were pretty much wet the whole time but the kids loved it and the adults had fun as well. It was good to go with friends and get to know them better.

Winter wonder land

WOW!!!!! We just got a ton of snow!! We were warned about Wisconsin winters but wow is all I have to say. This is what I remember it being like as a kid but seeing this much snow at once has been fun. However everything is shut down. Thomas had a doctors appointment today and the office was closed everyone is staying home except the plows.

One day Sky called and said "get a baby sitter we are going out tonight" obviously I didn't hesitate if he was willing to take time off from studying the night before a test it had to be good. He came home and showed me box seat tickets to the Marquette basketball game.
To some this is no big deal, but to me it was a miracle. A night off from the kids and time with Schuyler it doesn't get any better than that. Oh and the game was fun to.
The school had purchased a certain amount of tickets and since it was the night before a big test not many had taken the tickets so there were a few of us there. It was a really fun night and it was good to get to know more of Sky's classmates, and enjoy the high life for a night.

These are some of Macies new discovery's and talents;

Water, where ever there is water there is Macie. She loves to play in it, drink it, and spill it. Just yesterday I found a trail from the toilet to the kitchen where I found Macie with a sopping wet rag. Yes I disinfected her and everything in her path.

Cooking, I can't walk into the kitchen or near the kitchen with out Macie Pulling a chair over and saying "I see mommy, I see." She gets a spatula and a container with water (of course) and some pepper in it and stirs until I am done cooking whatever it is, no matter if it's a sandwich for lunch. a glass of water from the fridge or making a fancy dinner (that happens rarelly).

"B" (Thomas) Macie has named Thomas on her own and now calls him "B" all day I hear "your okay B" or "I get B Mommy", or "B sad" the list goes on but somedays I think she is a better mom than I am.

Reading, in the morning when i go into her room her bed is filled with books, she loves them and is always asking me to read to her. It is fun for both of us.

Clothes and accsesuries, WOW she loves to wear bows in her hair and look at new clothes and loves, loves LOVES shoes, I have no idea where she gets it.

Macie is a lot of fun and I will keep you posted as she discovers more, which I am sure she will.
