Help...

It has been interesting at our house lattly, I have been struggling with a three year old who decided that it is okay to be whinney all day long, argue with me about everything, not listen to me and turns and says "Whatever mom". (but at the same time she can turn around and be soooo sweet and perfect) If she is like this at three I have no idea what we will be doing when she is thirteen.

I have been doing a lot of thinking and praying and wondering how to handle these fits without loosing my cool, I know all of you fantastic Mom and Dads have dealt with similar situations and I am wondering what you have done to help your child understand that they are not going to get what they want when they pitch a fit and when they don't listen without being completely frustrated and lost.  Any ideas are welcome I am lost!!!!

Pirate Festival

Milwaukee has a festival for everything!!! Pirate festival is one of the many and the one that we actually took our camera to. It was fun to see all the people dressed up as pirates both entertainers and people who just showed up. We wish we would have dressed up Tom in his Pirate outfit, but o well. In the pictures are our friends; Nick, Christina, and Camille (with the eye patch) Harker, and Emily and Aden Tate. It was a fun time.

We also made it to the Strawberry festival one of our favorites but no pictures but we love the chocolate covered strawberry's and the strawberry sprechers soda YUMMY!!! 

SKY

Our family has a new hobby, well Sky does but we get to be a part of it. Sky loves to fly remote controlled air planes and has done so for a long time, but recently picked the hobby back up. We spend Saturdays and some week days at the field watching him fly. The kids love it, Tom can't get close enough to the controller and wants to fly just like his dad.

Macie and I were looking through all of our photos and we ran across this one. I love the look on her face, I wish I could know what she was thinking at that moment. I can't believe how small Thomas was. No I didn't let him cry very long...
